Right,now about the DMIT camp!
It was reallllyyy fun~~
At first they put us in these random groups,so I thought that
I was gona be in the same group as those people
Thanks to that random grouping,I got to meet people in my course
like Phelia. [She's in DDM~~~~~ <3]
And real mad,fun people like Simon!
That was when I first met CJ,and truthfully..he kinda scared me.
Seemed like the very serious guy,dosent really let loose..
though I discovered just how wrong I was when I ended up in the same
group as him =P
See,after they decided that most people had arrived,they brought us to foodcourt 6.
Then they began placing us in our groups.
So I ended up being in the same group as
-Anna
-MingSi
-Edwin
-Sean
-Ryan
-Kai Jian
-Roy
-WeiHoong
and two other girls whose name I can pronounce,but I'm not sure how to spell.Sorry!!
And then suddenly,Del [he more or less took over our group for a short while] asked
two girls to volunteer to go to another group.
Truthfully,I almost volunteered to go..when suddenly those two girls said they would go.
Note that there were only 5 girls AT THIS POINT.
So,off those two girls go..
And in two guys come.
In my mind I was going 'Whaaatttt?!?!?!'
They were Raam [who was in my briefing group] and CJ.
Hence,we ended up being the group with the least girls.Hee.
But in the end,I think if I had decided to go join the other group [Carnage],
I would have completely regretted it.
I love my group! Botakz Rockz!~~
Soooo..if I can remember corrently,this is what happened on the first day.
Intro to each other..put our bags in our bunks...
ok,never mind,I cant remember.
I can only remeber a few parts here and there,the really funny parts xD
LIKE THE NIGHTWALK.
HAHAHAHA.
I was paired with a guy from Carnage,I know him as JayZee..but I think I completely spelt it wrongly.Meh.
I'm not the kind of girl that screams at everything she sees..as long as someones with me,
I can take it.
Even though I ALMOST screamed when they let that stupid doll fall right next to me
on the stairs.
I later discovered that it was supposed to fall INFRONT of me.
Shudder.
I have this habit of singing when I'm in the dark..
Yeah yeah,so they told us not to sing.
It's a habit!!
Some rules they gave us were...
-Don't wear red.
-Don't say your name.
-Don't look at your reflection.
-Don't look back.
-Don't look up into the trees.
Naturally,aside from the first rule,I kinda forgot about everything esle ^^"
I'm a weird person...
So we finally got through the whole thing.
But we bumped into MingSi and her partner many many times.
Cause we walked too fast and they walked too slow!
And behind us,there were people walking in even bigger groups...
There WAS one bad thing about putting the nightsticks on the floor.
When a shadow crosses it,it's obvious that someone is up ahead.
Taking away SOME of the mystery...
But well.
I basically just smiled at everyone who scared me =X
and went 'Hiiii!~~~'
Haha...
And eating meals was kinda fun~
On the first day,for dinner they told us [who came down early!]
that we had 30 sec to grab enough food for our group
No more,no less
Thankfully the plastic bag infront of me made it easy to count the number
of packets inside..Hee~~
During all the meals,Yan Ting mama sat with us while James papa sat with the boys
It's like a seperation of genders.
One time we chatted with the 'Singtel grid hunk', [yeah yeah,I forgot his name...
he's that cute little shim with the puppy]
He asked me who was the most handsome of the Gl's >.>
It was obvious who he wanted the answer to be..so for fun I just said Wan.
Then he started yelling at Wan saying he had an admirer.
If only I knew him better.I'd strangle him.MUWAHAHA.
Random stuffs..
Then there was..-drumroll-
The amazing race!!
Siao lar.We ran here,ran there,chiong everywhere [This is why our cheer is 'We play,we win,we CHIONG!'] From inside SP [where we had to paint our faces.That Raam.Gave me war paint that made my forehead all BLUE.] to outside SP...
First stop was Bugis! WeiHoong cracked the clue we were given,sweet!He was so fast..
We had to find this girl in the REALLLYYYYYYYYY CROWDED place.
Seriously.I bet you she was at the back of some shop hiding from everyone.
We were so easy to spot!
How often do you find people with paint on their faces in the middle of nowhere?
So,since we coudlnt find her.. :(
We had to FORFEIT.
The 'my side,my side,my side my front my back' song.
As James says, DMIT people have no shame!!
Free performance for people,hehe.
Then we were off...
if I'm not wrong,we headed for Plaza Sg,where we had to pass marbles using chopsticks.
Took us quite a while,it kept sliding off the chopsticks!Sheesh.
Thennnnn..
we ran off to city hall,for the chopstick war memorial!
Had to look for 8 clues >.>
and we kinda allied with Spongbob,they even waited for us sometimes!
So nice.
And...yep,we coudln't find all 8 clues.We barely found 5 >.>
Soooooooo....yesh,FORFEIT.
And of all things we had to do,we had to pass POLO sweets using
our mouths to one another.
And we had to stand in a boy-girl-boy-girl line...
oh man. I think this is the scariest and most nerving forfeit I've done.
And thennnnnnnn....
we headed down to HMV for another challenge!
We had to BLOW UP CONDOMS. And BURST them.
Wonder who's the clever person who thought of this particular challenge.
So Anna and Ryan volunteered.
You both are SO brave.
Oh,and CJ too.
Ryan ran out of breath,so he took over.
Up till this time,I always thought the condom was easily broken.
This challenge proved that I was SOOOOOOOO wrong.
It can STRETCH to impossible sizes.
And I saw people taking pictures of us >.>
And people like Kai Jian are remarkable..they actually volunteered to put the
condom in their shirts and let James sorta bang-hug into them to burst it.
The stupid lubricating stuff xD
Then,we zoomeddd down to Far East Plaza.
And they told us we had to find people with certain things,and take pictures of them.
If I'm not wrong,the stuffs are..
-Pink badana
-Sweatband
-Some Brazallian something slippers.. ><
-Sony earphones
-Black fingernails
Everything here EXCEPT the pink badana could be found.
I mean common,who would wear a pink badana!?!!?!
Aside from Daniel[our GP]..
So we had to,yepp,forfeit again..
And now we had to pass TICKTACK sweets using our mouths.
I think I can guess the fave activity [forfeit] of our seniors now..
And HAHAHAHA,WE FINISHEDDDDD!!
We were the second group!
So we just stuck around chatting until the lasy group came back...
Turns out every group except Parang had completed the race.
I wonder why they decided to stop...
So for the first two nights,we got to share a room with Carnage [cause we were the first two teams xD]
While other groups had to squeezzeeeeee 3 groups in one room.
But for some reason,on the third night we had to squeeze in with 4 teams in a room..
Wonder what happened.
We had the lightstick game!!
This is the first time I've gotten such a thrill by hiding in funny oolu places.
Crawling on the floor,running low to the ground..so fun!!
Finding light sticks were even funner. I found the first one! ^^
Our luck was really weird.
Since we had really little points,we decided to go into the Hell Zone [our school!!]
I mean,its nothing much to risk right?
Ryan kept our lightsticks,since his jeans would make sure no one saw lights from far far away..
ingenious~
The self-proclaimed devil king actually took pity on us and traded our 1 point light sticks [2 in total] for a 2 and 3 point light stick!
Then there was this damn dark road where we kept running up and down cause devils kept walking there.Bah.
And can you believe it,Angels and Devils actually WALKED TOGETHER.
Is that allowed?!??!!?!???
Even if the angel took pity on us,the devil may just take away more lightsticks!!
Mannn.
And some sneaky devils followed an angel around,but hid their own lightstick.Meh.
We got caught once while we were hiding..
And got caught in a PK with another team,and we lost.
So we ended up giving them one light stick.
And got many red ones taken...sobbies.
And just our luck,we found quite a few red lightsticks here and there.
So we went up this building,sat on a shadowed corridor and waited for half an hour.
The only 'open' zone was the Hell zone at that time,so our team decided to bochap and just sat there.
I ended up sleeping..hehe xD
Then on the way back,we found two more lightsticks!Whee~~
We originally calculated our score to 25 [I think],
but in the end it was wayyyy over that.
So we won!! yay~~~
And if I'm not wrong,after that was the disco~~
I truthfully thought they were gona make us watch a horror movie.
I din look UP,only at the sides..
Then cheese pie told us we were about to go to the old Changi Building somewhere...
Scared the hell outta us for nothing.
The disco was damn fun xD
James thought I would be one of the first few to turn in.Lawl.
I lasted quite a while..
Ryan and Raam are really quite the party people.
Raam was on the table most of the time,and Ryan..
well,bumped into him a few times.
I turned in with Anna,we were both tired..hehe.
James was the most enthu though.
He told me that the WHOLE carnage group stayed until the end.
AMAZING.
I think it ended at like...4am?
I applaud them!
Andddd..I'd say more,but I'm dead tired.
Tomorrow we're gona meet to be briefed more on flag day and get some SPICE training.
Hoo boy...
